Sharp Cornered Steel Profiles in Many Different Alloys

When designers in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries see the name Stainless Structurals, they of course think about our common stainless structural sections. We are more than just a structural profile company. Did you know we can produce both carbon and stainless steel sections in many different alloys and in a variety of shapes, including flat bar? Find out more about our full product offerings below.

Profile and Alloy Offerings

The most common stainless steel alloys that we produce our sections in are 304/L, 316/L and 2205 Duplex. With our laser fusion technology, these are not the only alloys we can do in stainless steel. We can produce all of our standard sections like beams, channels, angles, tees as well as custom sections like sharp cornered tubing in stainless alloys such as 309, 310,317/L, 321, 904/L, 2507 and more.

Did you know Stainless Structurals now offers Duplex Stainless flat bar. Along with the duplex alloys, we can also offer standard 20-foot length flat bars in these same exotic alloys that we produce our structural sections in. All of these flat bars come in a blasted and pickled finish on all four sides making it a true bar.

In carbon steel, the most common alloy is A36, followed closely by grade 50. Our product offerings in the carbon steel alloys are mainly for custom sections or for projects that require sharp cornered profiles. Generally, these are for architectural applications or exposed sections that must meet AESS guidelines.

Full Customization of Stainless and Carbon Steel Profiles

Stainless Structurals’ laser fusion production method has many benefits. Along with producing a sharp cornered profile, this technology allows for almost full customization. Height, Width, Length, Thickness and Alloy are all customizable within our production parameters. These parameters are profile dependent but include:

  • Thickness: 3/16” to 1-1/4”

  • Width up to 16 inches

  • Height up to 25 inches

  • Length up to 50 feet

For custom alloys, we can produce in a variety of carbon and stainless steel grades. Most of these can be found here on our website. One rule of thumb is if the allow is weldable, we can produce with our laser fusion technology. Products available in these alloys include flat bar, square and rectangle tubing, beam, channel, angle, and tee sections.

Making Your Design a Reality

At Stainless Structurals, our goal is to help the engineers, architects, and designers to meet their exact project needs and requirements, even for the most complex project. Our production technologies are geared towards making these designs a reality. We understand the need for the common stainless and carbon steel alloys but also know there are many applications that require special alloys.
